I am an actor and musical comedian based in New York City. I have a background in long form and musical improvisation, and am a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, electric bass, and ukulele).
As a musical comedian and improviser I've toured the country with the companies Broadway's Next Hit Musical and This Is Your Life: The Musical, am a part of the long-running musical improv group Vern (The People's Improv Theater), and am the co-creator/co-star of the show What Town? The Musical. Recently, I was seen in the Off-Broadway workshop The Greatest Musical Never Written (prod. Robyn Goodman).
Favorite theater credits include shows at the Atlantic Theater Company, NYC Fringe Festival Encores Series, Williamstown Theater Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and Once at TheatreSquared.
My voice can be heard singing funny songs on multiple Audible productions, including Funny Amazon Reviews (featuring Jane Lynch) and A Very Improvised Holiday Musical (featuring Laura Benanti). I also created and hosted the podcast Daniel Sings The News.
I have a BFA from NYU Tisch School of Drama, and have trained with some awesome teachers at the Upright Citizens Brigade, PIT, and Magnet Theaters.
